Role Description:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to take full ownership of our financial operations. This is a full-time, on-site role ideal for someone with a strong background in Tally ERP or Tally Prime, excellent command over GST/TDS compliance, and the ability to manage end-to-end accounts in a fast-paced production or creative environment.
The Accountant will oversee accounting workflows, manage production-related financial activities, ensure statutory compliance, supervise junior accountants, and contribute to process improvements that enhance accuracy, efficiency, and financial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complete accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), GST, TDS, and MIS reporting.
- Handle project-wise costing, production-related expenses, vendor payments, and budgeting support.
- Oversee monthly closing activities, bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and financial documentation.
- Prepare and present accurate financial reports, statements, and analysis to management.
- Ensure full statutory compliance, including GST returns, TDS filings, audits, and other regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams and liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and external agencies.
- Implement and maintain robust accounting controls and standard operating procedures.
- Identify gaps in financial workflows and contribute to systematic improvements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 3–5 years of hands-on accounting experience (media, production, advertising, or creative agencies preferred).
- Expertise in Tally ERP / Tally Prime (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, income tax rules, and statutory compliance.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
- Strong understanding of project costing, vendor management, and financial control.
- Excellent accuracy, attention to detail, and documentation skills.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities for working with multiple departments.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and handle confidential financial information responsibly.
