Role Overview
We are looking for an SEO Intern who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow while working on real, live client projects. This is a 6-month onsite internship designed to provide hands-on industry experience, practical exposure to SEO strategies, and an opportunity to work with an experienced digital marketing team.
The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of how search engines work, website structure, keywords, and digital marketing concepts. You will support the SEO team in executing optimization tasks, improving website visibility, analyzing performance, and implementing strategies that drive organic growth.
This internship is perfect for students, freshers, or early learners who want to build practical SEO skills through real project experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in performing keyword research and competitor analysis for client projects.
- Support the team in optimizing website content, meta tags, headings, and internal linking.
- Help conduct on-page SEO audits and identify improvement opportunities.
- Work on basic technical SEO tasks such as indexing checks, sitemap updates, and broken link analysis.
- Monitor website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO platforms.
- Assist in creating SEO-friendly content recommendations for blogs and landing pages.
- Support backlink research and outreach activities.
- Track keyword rankings, website traffic, and prepare basic SEO performance reports.
- Collaborate with developers, designers, and content teams to implement SEO best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry practices.
Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of SEO concepts, search engines, and digital marketing.
- Familiarity with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, or SEO tools is a plus.
- Awareness of on-page SEO, keywords, meta tags, and website optimization techniques.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, WordPress, or website structure is preferred.
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and strategies.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Creative problem-solving abilities and eagerness to explore new ideas.
- Pursuing or completed a degree in Marketing, IT, Computer Science, Mass Media, or related fields is a plus but not mandatory.
