Role Overview
We are looking for a Website Development Intern who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow while working on real, live client projects. This is an unpaid internship designed to provide hands-on industry experience, practical exposure to the complete web development cycle, and an opportunity to work with an experienced creative and technical team.
The ideal candidate should have basic prior knowledge of how websites are built, structured, and maintained—this includes familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms like WordPress. You will support our development team in executing tasks, fixing issues, implementing new features, and maintaining website quality and performance.
This internship is perfect for students, freshers, or early learners who want to sharpen their skills through real project experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and maintaining websites for live client projects.
- Work on front-end tasks using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks as required.
- Support the team in updating WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
- Help troubleshoot bugs, layout issues, and compatibility problems.
- Collaborate with designers and developers to convert UI/UX designs into functional web pages.
- Participate in testing, debugging, and optimizing website performance.
- Document tasks, revisions, and updates as part of the development workflow.
- Learn and adapt to development tools, version control, and best practices used by the team.
Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
- Familiarity with WordPress or any CMS (even beginner-level knowledge is fine).
- Awareness of how hosting, domains, page speed, and SEO basics work (preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong willingness to learn and the ability to grasp new tools/technologies quickly.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work within a team environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- A pursuit of a degree in Computer Science, IT, Web Development, or related fields is a plus but not required if skills are demonstrated.
